Our club is a true club for the community, a club that covers a massive area from Hallett Cove to Victor Harbour, and the area out around the Great Southern Community. It is a cricket club that provides a unique opportunity for cricketers to fulfil their dreams of representing their state and/or country. Southern District CC is the only cricket club that provides a direct link to levels that all players dream about.
With four senior teams, two under 16 teams, two under 14 teams plus an under 17 BankSA carnival team, Ray Sutton team (primary school) and three Scorpions Shield women’s teams there is ample opportunity for players to find their niche in the cricketing world. Southern District Cricket Club also provides the organisation of the primary schools competitions and other promotional activities such as “In2Cricket”.
Southern District CC is on the move! Our goal is to create an environment for people to excel at their cricket and those assisting to have fun and satisfaction. Why not be a part of the growth and success. Volunteers play an important part in our club and currently the club is actively recruiting community members to carry out the countless tasks that are necessary to keep the club functioning. The more people we can get to help, the less workload for those people who “put their hands up” and the more people who we can share our success with.
